Fantoni HB 01 William Harsey Carbon Fiber M390 Combat Folder Tactical Knife

The Fantoni HB 01 Tactical Folder has just been made even better.   You know the HB 01 as one of the most solid, reliable knives you can find.  Fantoni is now offering an upgraded version.  From the first time you see one, it is very evident that it is a William (Bill) Harsey design.  Mr. Harsey draws from his years of military experience, collaborations with Special Forces, and his skill in knife design to create this fully functional piece of art.

The HB 01 is the largest of the Fantoni made Harsey series of folders.  The 4-1/4" spearpoint blade mates perfectly with the black Carbon Fiber handle to make an impressive 9-1/2" overall knife.  The blade is of a satin like, bead blast finished Bohler M390 Microclean stainless steel hardened to a Rockwell 61-62.  It has dual thumbstuds and a flipper tang to assist in rapid deployment.  The handle is made of finely textured Carbon Fiber scales over 6AI4V titanium liners.  The titanium pocket clip is reversible for either right or left hand, tip-up carry.  The HB 01 has an open column design for easy cleaning and has a ribbed thumb ramp and jimping on the handle back, butt and underneath for a secure grip.
