The Jesper Voxnaes designed, Fox Knives Suru framelock folder won Knife of the Year at Blade Show 2018. That could probably be the end of the description, but t is not. The design, the materials, and the craftsmanship really stand out.
The Suru is one of the best EDC knives available. It measures 5-3/4" open length, 3-1/2" closed length, and weighs only 2.5 oz. The .15" thick, drop-point blade is 2.36" long and is forged from N690Co Cobalt Vanadium stainless steel with a 58-60 Rockwell hardness. It is Black Idroglider coated and given a stonewash finish. A thumb hole, flipper tang, and ball bearing pivot allow for easy one-hand opening. The aluminum handle is anodized Green with a weathered finish that looks as comfortable as it is to carry. The handles feature multiple holes in various sizes to reduce weight. The framelock design keeps the blade very secure in the open position. The Suru features a black anodized aluminum back spacer with an integral lanyard hole. A black wire steel pocket clip is used for easy pocket carry and reduces weight even more. This award winning folder is brand new in original Fox box.
The 2018 Knife of the Year, Fox Suru is made in Italy and brought to you by Knife Command.
