      The Guardian Tactical Recon-035 sets the industry standard for OTF Automatics a lot higher.  With its patented OTF mechanism, opening and closing this blade is significantly smoother and very strong.  Their new locking mechanism doesn't touch the blade in motion thereby reducing friction and wear.  The thumb slide utilizes a steel plate and ceramic balls to eliminate typical OTF wear on the aluminum handle.  Now with Elmax steel blade.  Looks the same as pictured, but with Elmax instead of S35VN blade.


      The Recon-035 Double-Action Automatic has an overall length of 8” and a closed length of 4.5".  The 3.375" Double edge, spear-point  blade is made of Stonewash finished ELMAX stainless steel.  The black Type lll Hardcoat Anodized Aluminum handle is approx. 7/16" thick and has milled traction slots for a non-slip grip.    The satin thumb slide rides on a stainless steel plate with ceramic balls to reduce friction.  It features all satin hardware with a stonewash finished, serial numbered pocket clip for tip-down carry.  It also has a lanyard hole.
             
      This Recon-035 is the next big thing in OTF Autos.   100% Made in the USA and is individually serial numbered.  Knife Command continues to bring you the best.

      1. Very nice action on this OTF knife !

        This is my third recon 35 - needless to say I like them .. I own dozens of Microtech OTFs none have as smooth an action as the Gardian . The bearing system is genius! The knife has a wide body also some will not like that but it’s key to have a solid grip to enabling the opening close action of these type knives .. I’m not keen on the lanyard hole not sure it adds much to the knife.. Should you drop the knife it’s a weak point.. But I don’t plan on dropping it ., I have only one real complaint.. The blade on my new double edge 035 does not measure out to specs ! The blade is 3.25 at the very max .. I’m sure this is due to the grind for a double edge and also an effort to keep the very tip of the blade well inside the body of the knife thus protecting the user and blade tip from damage.. if I were buying another I would not buy the double edge for this reason.. I hope the new clip point blade is not shorter also .. The one I currently own bought two years ago measures to spec … That extra 1/8 inch is important. One last thing - The action button configuration is perfect don’t change a thing! on

        Perfect knife for every day carry , easy to keep sharp and it just looks good lol. on

        Love how smooth the blade action is , came razor sharp , makes short work of card board boxes and slicing open pretty much anything I want opened .

        Can’t go wrong with guardian tactical .         on
