The Silver Stag Tool Series Big Bowie is a beautiful traditional bowie made to do whatever it wants to do.  The 1095 Carbon Steel is used for toughness, easy sharpening, and edge retention.  All 1095 HC spring tool steel blades should be kept oiled.

The Big Bowie SSB10.0 has a 10" blade and is approximately 16" overall.    The clip-point bowie blade is jeweled finished 1095 HC spring tool steel with an HRC 58-62 hardness.  This strong blade is 5/32" thick.  It features a long 9-1/8" fine cutting edge and is almost 1-7/8" from spine to edge.  It has a beautiful, genuine crown stag handle with a steel finger guard.  Due to stag being nature-made, each one will have a different stag pattern, pictures are representative.  A high quality,handmade leather belt sheath with  a leather thong and snap retainer is included.
